Aegean Motorway currently employs 410 employees (not including those working at the Construction) at sites located along the 230 km of the motorway.

The Project undertaken by Aegean Motorway includes the upgrading of the existing motorway and the construction of a new section of the motorway which will bypass the Old National Road at the Tempi Valley and Platamonas, as well as the operation and maintenance of the motorway for 30 years.

To fully implement this project, the Company has been organized in 4 main Divisions:

• Management Division
• Finance Division
• Design & Construction Division
• Operation & Maintenance Division

The Management Division is based in Moschochori and comprises the Legal Department, the Human Resources Department, the Communication Department, and the Integrated Management Department.

The Finance Division is based in in Moschochori and deals with the funding and financial control of the Project undertaken by the Company amounting to EUR 1.3 billion. This division comprises the Financial Analysis Department, the Financial Control Department, the Insurance Department, the Procurement Department, and the Accounting Department - Warehouses.

The Operation & Maintenance Division is in charge of the smooth operation and proper maintenance of the motorway, and it is the division with the highest number of employees. The Division comprises the Toll Department, the Motorway Operation Department and the Motorway Maintenance Department. The Toll Department also includes Customer Service and the Marketing Department. The Motorway Operation Department deals with the smooth operation of the Motorway while the Motorway Maintenance Department deals with the regular and heavy maintenance of the motorway. To more efficiently manage its maintenance, the Project has been divided into two geographical districts, the South District and the North District.

• The South District which extends from Raches, Fthiotida, the southern boundary of the Project to the Evangelismos I/C, is served by the Operation and Maintenance Center of Moschochori and the Drymonas Technical Base.
• The North District which extends from the Evangelismos Intersection to the northern boundary of the Project in Kleidi, Imathia, is served by the Operation and Maintenance Center of Leptokarya and the Korinos Technical Base. North District includes the Katerini Tunnel and the part of the Old National Road, and it will incorporate the new motorway section with the three large tunnels currently under construction.

The Design & Construction Division engages in monitoring the upgrade and construction works which must be performed in accordance with the contractual and/or international specifications, as well as in monitoring the construction time schedule. The division is based in Itea, Larissa.
