Aegean Motorway has made it its policy to promote its Personnel to one of the main factors for its growth, development and proper operation. By including Corporate Social Responsibility in the Integrated Management System, Aegean Motorway has made it its main investment tool. Through its actions / rules, the CSR system aims to continuously support the employees both at social as well a human level, in their workplace and also, to provide them with support in their positions of employment to continuously develop their skills/ competences.
Making continuous efforts to achieve its objectives, Aegean Motorway has developed and continuously improves tools and mechanisms, policies and employee communication actions, focusing on the creation of a climate of mutual trust and cooperation among its Employees, so as to ensure the direct communication between all Employees, regardless of hierarchical levels.
New actions and programs are designed on a regular basis, each time improved according to the needs of the Employees for improved working conditions and increased efficiency.

The Corporate Social Responsibility System has been developed as per the requirements of the Standard SA8000:2008 and certified by the Accredited Certification Body Lloyds Register QA.
AEGEAN MOTORWAY S.A. is one of the first Companies in Greece to proceed to the organisation, installation and certification of a Corporate Social Responsibility System.
